Overview
Cross-province travel is inconvenient, with safety concerns surrounding taxis and the high cost of traditional e-hailing services. There has to be a better option for South Africans. Liftsearch is a peer-to-peer travel service in which people use their vehicles to offer lifts to others who are traveling in the same direction.

Roadmap
A 2-in-1 travel platform to facilitate finding a lift and offering a lift with safety features for all types of travellers.In-advance booking,payments,trip reviews with a easy to use design.
User Research
For our user research ,liftsearch had already an existing facebook and thus we conducted surveys and user customer feedback to build the best suitable platform.
Target Audience
The target audience is anyone who is interested in affordable, convenient long distance cross province travel:
Regular Commuters
people who mostly travel during long holidays
Budget-Conscious Travelers
Qualitative Research
As part of our research, i randomly selected 24 members out the lift facebook group, and i structured a survey to understand their pain points and challenges they faces when deciding to travel cross province.

How often do you travel between cities or towns for personal or professional reasons?
What are the main challenges you face when traveling long distances, especially in terms of transportation options?
Would you consider using a peer-to-peer travel service where people offer lifts to others traveling in the same direction?
What factors would influence your decision to use such a service? (e.g., cost, safety, convenience)
What features or benefits would you like to see in a peer-to-peer travel service like Liftsearch?
How likely are you to trust strangers offering lifts through a platform like Liftsearch? What would increase your trust?
Would you be interested in offering your car as a lift to others if it meant reducing your travel costs? Why or why not?

Safety was a primary concern for both riders & drivers
Majority of the respondants travelled between Gauteng,Limpopo and Mpumalanga between holidays &
near the end of the year.
Conveniency was a key factor in people paying extra for long distance travel.

My relationship with Liftsearch spans over 2 years and in that time i went from only being tasked to design them a Mobile Application to working on almost everything else such as Graphic design for marketing , Brand Merchandise ,Brand Consulting & re-designing their New Website .
